In Middle and High School, Western Academy of Beijing students take part in Day 9, a day when students have the opportunity to self-direct their learning, allowing them to sign up for a wide range of workshops to explore interests, join clubs, build skills, or just catch up on homework. As the name suggests, this happens every 9th school day.
